The Louisiana Association of Student
Financial Aid Administrators (LASFAA) is proud to offer to Elks
National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship The The American Cancer Society’s
Mid-South division is awarding college scholarships to young cancer survivors
pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited university, community
college, or vocational technical school.

To receive a Standard High School Diploma you must have 23 credits as outlined below and pass all required portions of the Exit Exam. English
(4 Units) Math
(3 Units) Science
(3 Units) Social
Studies (3 Units) P.E.
(1 1/2 Units) Health
(1/2 Unit) Electives (8 Units) Total of 23 Credits To receive a Standard Diploma, a student must also score at least Approaching Basic on the ELA, Math, Science or Social Studies portions of the GEE. |
To receive a high school diploma with a Technical Endorsement, you must meet the following criteria: All classes necessary for
the: GEE-At least Approaching Basic on all
four components of the Exit Exam GPA--Career/Technical Endorsement – TOPS Opportunity Award or TOPS Tech Award GPA requirements (Currently 2.5) ACT--TOPS |
To
receive a high school diploma with an Academic Endorsement, you must
meet the following criteria: --2 Approaching Basic, 2 Mastery or Above
GPA/ACT--TOPS Opportunity GPA and an ACT of 23 |

the best source for seeking scholarship aid. Contact the financial aid
office at the college you are interested in attending. Investigate the possibility of scholarships that might be
offered through the company for which your parents work. If you have a
special skill or talent, talk to a teacher in that particular field about
possible scholarships. |
